PIU (Provider Information Update) – No Epic Access

These Providers do not use Epic.  These are place holders to document providers that do not use Epic but are PCP, authorizing providers, and referrals.

Example:

• If you want to refer a patient to a provider who does not use Epic, this is the type of record to select.  This creates a provider in Epic that can be referred to.
